MONTY PYTHON and the HOLY GRAIL board game

Quick update - the Monty Python Holy Grail game pledge manager is now live!  The approvals took us a bit longer than we expected but you should be able to access it now.  The first smoke test surveys went out today to a few hundred backers.  The way their process works is there is a short test window with a percentage of backers and then all surveys should be out by this time on Wednesday for everyone.  Please watch your email and check your junk and especially spam folders in case they get stuck in one of the filters.

The games are shipping to us from the factory right now.  We don't have an update on their progress but we are keeping in touch with the freight company and will make sure everyone knows as soon as they arrive at the port.

Quick Monty Python Game update here.  Our pledge manager page that will send out the surveys to everyone has gotten hung up in approvals.  We've reached out to Backerkit to have it go live and it should begin sending out surveys this week.  

The process starts with a "smoke test" - which basically means about 10% of backers will get surveys first.  And then about 48 hours later the remaining surveys will go wide to everyone.  We're hopeful that all of the surveys will be out by the end of the week.  

On the shipping front - the games are still being shipped from the factory, but we will keep you posted on their expected delivery at the port and transportation to the fulfillment center.  We are using a fulfillment partner in hopes of keeping the international shipping rates as reasonable as they can be.  The shipping partner is ready to begin fulfillment as soon as the games arrive here in the United States.

We will keep you posted on any other transportation news we get regarding the games arrival date.  Thanks to everyone for your patience while we wait for the items to arrive from the factory.

Quick update for everyone here - the factory has notified us that they are prepping the Monty Python Holy Grail Games for shipping from the plant at this time.  They are palletizing the goods and prepping for them to be shipped in a container via boat to the port here in the United States.  Once they arrive at port they will ship to our warehouse and we will immediately begin shipping to backers!  As soon as we have the tracking information for the shipment we'll get another update out to keep you notified of the progress. 

We're in the home stretch now!  Everyone will be flinging farm animals before you know it. 

A note arrived today from the faraway factory.  They are putting the finishing touches on the Monty Python game and will be running through the quality control processes by the end of the week!  With this great news, we wanted to share some pictures of the actual game elements with you to see how everything looks.

Huzzah!  Now as the factory finishes everything up and starts to put the games onto shipping pallets, we will begin the arduous process of calculating how many swallows are needed to transport the games to our warehouse.  Our initial calculations are that we need a ludicrous amount of birds (that's one level higher than ridiculous amount).  We apologize for the added bird droppings that we are likely to encounter. 

Anyway - as we get transportation timelines confirmed we will keep you updated.  As soon as the games get here we will immediately begin shipping out to all of the backers.  More updates to come!

So...remember that "something signed by John Cleese" pledge level?  We're excited to share a picture of the really awesome Monty Python's Holy Grail collectors print!  These are beautifully printed on heavy cardstock and are suitable for framing. Mr. Cleese is scheduled to autograph the pictures in just about 4 weeks at a convention appearance.  It's all been arranaged - the prints arrive via swallow and the signatures will be completed during his stay here in the United States for the show.  It's all rather exciting as we all love Monty Python and are thrilled to have the opportunity to share this awesome collectible with everyone.
